When I was younger, I loved to play with train sets. They were a blast. I still enjoy them now to some extent. So naturally, I would probably download Train Conductor for the iPhone. I suppose the game being free at the time didn't hurt either!
Train Conductor puts you in charge of several train tracks and you are tasked with guiding trains safely. You get bonus points if you can get the trains on the right track. At times, there are several trains on the screen that you have to direct.
There are a couple of cities that you are the levels. The game starts out pretty easy. You only have three tracks to worry about. As you get further along, more tracks are introduced as well as objects that can prevent the flow of the train.
Also, there are two speed settings. Standard and Fast. Each level has a set amount of time. However, you can make the trains go faster with the fast setting so that the trains move faster. The amount of time does not change. This allows you to rack up many more points. Plus, it can get insanely difficult with this Fast setting.
Now, should you play it? Well, the games does offer a challenge. However, the game is pretty short. And really, if you are not trying to beat the leaders on the leader board there probably isn't any replay value. However, I definitely think it is worth a play through. I may not suggest getting it if there is a fee though.
