Modern Warfare 3: Review

on Wednesday, 23 November 2011. Posted in PS3, XBox 360, PC, Games, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

I meant to get this review out sooner but I wanted to put the game through a few more paces.

So, the renowned Modern Warfare series gets a third iteration and at that it should be the last one. Both previous games got great reviews so one should expect the same from this one as well.

With these games, a lot of people decide to play the multiplayer first and sometimes only. However, I always play the game's single player first.

As such, let's get the story out of the way. I was a little foggy on the previous games story as I had not played it for quite awhile. However, this game allowed me to figure things out pretty easily. Saying that, anyone knew to the series would have no idea on what is exactly going on. This happened to me when playing Modern Warfare 2 before playing the first one. But, at the end of the game you get the general jist anyways.

The controls throughout the game are what you would expect from a game of this caliber. They are a little different from other FPS games I have been playing recently but they didn't take long at all to get used to.

Graphics seem unchanged in my opinion. They might be a little bit better but I really can't compare side by side as I do not own the previous game. That isn't to say they are bad though. I really couldn't find any complaints about the graphics.

Now, most people get Modern Warfare for the multiplayer. And, the multiplayer is pretty expansive. There is the standard multiplayer and the Spec Ops. I tend to spend more of my time with Spec Ops.

Spec Ops has two game modes, survivor and objectives. Both modes have to players fighting side by side. Survivor just has you fighting wave after wave of enemies. This mode is a lot of fun and really gets difficult the further you get. If you want to get far you are eventually going to have to come up with some strategy. The only downside to it in my opinion is that the waves really don't change all that much. They might spawn at different locations but you can expect the same enemies every game.

Objectives are familiar to me from Modern Warfare 2 which I played a lot with my cousins. There are a lot of them and you unlock more after reaching certain levels. These offer to fine tune your skills so that you can complete the task with the best time.

Then you get to the normal multiplayer. There is a lot of game modes in this so I am not going to go through them all. Some have objectives like blow up or protect things from being blown up, capturing flags, and the normal kill everybody that isn't on your team. I mostly play Team Deathmatch but Kill Confirmed might be an even better mode. Kill Confirmed requires your team to collect killed opponents dog tags to get the point.

Like most FPS games these days, the more you play online the more you level up, and the more you unlock stuff. I won't go to far in to detail on this as most should already know about it.

There are a lot of things to like about MW3. However, I have found a lot of things to not like and they mainly stem from the multiplayer. My biggest problem is lag. This wasn't much of a problem when I first started playing but just recently it has gotten real bad. I have played games where everyone is in the green and the lag just became to much to continue to playing.

My next huge grumble is that things just don't add up. I have heard similar complaints from others so I know it isn't just me. I will shoot about 10 rounds into an opponent. This is enough to kill them. However, I mysteriously die and when I watch the kill cam I don't get a single round off. Probably stems from a smaller amount of lag, I don't know but it still pisses me off. I don't care if I die but if the other person should be dieing on my screen they should be dead.

Finally, there is the funny habit of people dieing behind objects. I start getting rounds pumped into me so I run behind something. I am out of view(and I know I am from the kill cam) but rounds magically bend in midflight to find me.

Overall, I can't complain to much. Single player is awesome with a somewhat overused but still interesting ending. The multiplayer is actually fun when you get past all the stupid stuff that happens occasionally even if it is worse than any other FPS multiplayer I have experienced. I really suggest you Play This Game. You will always find a match even if it takes a bit and hopefully some of these lag problems are fixed and the multiplayer will be all that more enjoyable.

Bioshock 2: Review

on Tuesday, 15 November 2011. Posted in PS3, Games, Bioshock 2

I was a big fan of Bioshock. It wasn't to the point of playing it over and over again. But, it was a well done game. I liked the setting. I liked the story for the most part. I liked the enemies. It was a fun game. As such, I wanted to play Bioshock 2 but just wasn't on the top of my list. So, I finally got Bioshock 2. I payed around $10 for it so even if I wouldn't have liked the first the choice to get the second was a no brainer.

Overall, this game doesn't change a whole lot from the first. Bioshock 2 takes place after the first. It again takes place in Rapture. You encounter some of the same enemies you grew to know in the first. You are reintroduced to the past which is lucky cause I had forgotten some tid bits here and there. It kept true to itself which is what I was hoping for. But does that mean the game is still a must play?

When you start playing this game, you immediately think "Wow, the same graphics as the first." If you are graphic nazi you will probably notice some differences but as I have both not played the first game in a long time and I am not a graphic nazi, I couldn't remember any differences. That doesn't mean the graphics appear outdated. Not once during the game did I think "Man, these graphics suck."

This being a sequel, you would expect some additions and/or improvements. While subtle, there are quite a few.

The first big difference is that you are playing as a Big Daddy the entire time. Not only a Big Daddy, but an Alpha version of the Big Daddy. Even though they were the first step in the Daddy mentorship program, they are frickin badass. You get to use the drill. The drill easily became my favorite weapon!

Dual weilding was supposedly added. If I am remembering correctly, the first game required to switch between weapons and plasmids. This game has each in one hand. I am assuming that is what was meant by dual wielding.

There were some new enemies added. The first of the new enemies worth mentioning is the Big Sister. These put the big daddies to shame. Why? They are fast and just as brutish as their male counterpart. Eventually I got to the point where I would rather face a Big Sister over the Big Daddy but these things were a nightmare in the first half of the game.

Next up is the Brute. Think of this guy as a Big Daddy that instead of shooting stuff throws stuff. My first few encounters were pretty hectic. After ahile, they didn't seem to be so bad but they sure messed with my game plan when they appeared. Actually, think of these guys as a cross between the Big Daddy and a splicer in that they were strong like a Big Daddy but attacked you when they see you like a splicer.

And finally, I will mention the Aplha Series. These are many variations to Big Daddies but are loosely distinguishable as a Big Daddy. These guys are taller and more slender and faster. Being an Alpha Daddy yourself, you appreciate and also fear these guys. You don't see them much until later in the game and as such they don't seem as effective but I guarantee if you had to face one in the beginning of the game you would be like WTF!? Even later when you have to face multiples of these guys, you get to the point of WTF!?!?

The biggest addition to the game for me was being able to play as a Little Sister. I always wondered why they were bat shit crazy while also maintaining a eery calm in the game. Playing as once reveals so much information about them that you kind of feel sorry for them. I do not want to spoil it for anyone so I will stop there. This alone I feel is worth playing this game.

Overall the story was very good in my opinion. I felt it was on par with the last game's storyline if not a little bit better. I guess I felt like I was the character and that his story swayed the way I played the game more than the first.

I didn't have any problems with the controls. IMO they were as polished as they could be.

The sounds were excellent as always. Any game that incorporates old 50s style music is A-OK in my book. Monsters made noises I would expect and in some cases exceeded.

The one big fault I can give the game is that the game menu felt too slow or sluggish. I want to be able to switch to different parts of the menu instantaneously. It took a little bit. After I got used to it, it didn't frustrate me as much. Also, I thought if this technology was based in the 50s it would be a little clunky. I tried to think of it as an immersive experience. But, still overall annoying.

If you haven't played Bioshock 2, I highly suggest that You Play This Game! It is fun. Has a good storyline. There are very few things that I found wrong with this game.

They even had the trailer available before the release but had a countdown timer on it before you actually play it.

Battlefield 3 Does Destruction

on Wednesday, 12 October 2011. Posted in PS3, XBox 360, Wii, Battlefield 3

I love destruction! Usually destruction entails explosives. I love explosives! For that "real" job of mine I work with explosives at times.

When a game does destruction, it is usually a hit for me. It is one of the reason I like RTS games as they usually entail blowing shit up. Remember Red Alert 2 and the Nuke. Ahhhhhh yeahhhhh...

Anyways, one of the latest Videos for Battlefield 3 does destruction. It does explosions. It blows a tunnel to my heart.

Check out this video if you dig explosive destruction and/or Battlefield 3.

Claptrap's New Robot Revolution: Review

on Friday, 07 October 2011. Posted in PS3, Games, Borderlands

The Ninja Assassin Finally Is Revealed

So, I finally played the last to be released of the Borderlands' DLC. If you don't know, it is Claptrap's New Robot Revolution. Look at the title! Anyways, this is the DLC that I am pretty sure almost everyone was expecting to be released first as it was the last cut-scene of the main game. But alas, it was the last. Weird... Anyways, how did it fair?

Graphics use the same old same old as Borderlands. Which is not a bad thing at all. I love the look. I usually dislike cell shading as it is a kind of cheat to get the game running better as it is less hardware intense. However, gearbox made it their own and frankly the world looks better than I think it would have otherwise.

The vast array of enemies really don't change. You have some new Hyperion soldiers that are pretty tough. I am pretty sure I have not encountered them really anywhere else. Unfortunately, you encounter them maybe once before they are turned into traps. The ones that I can remember are the Lieutenant and the Grenader. The grenader can summon that shielded turret which can make him a pain in the ass. Luckily those aren't the only new enemies.

You also get some claptrap enemies. These come in four varieties that I can remember. The first is the rebel which is like any other enemy and can have a random weapon to shoot at you with. The next up is the samurai. He is a melee fighter and usually has some blades attached to his arms. There is one more that is melee based but for the life of me I can't remember its name. He has what appears to be big cans on his hands. Kind of like a boxer I suppose. The final claptrap is a kamikaze suicide bomber. Yes, kamikaze and suicide tend to refer to the same thing. This little bastard can ruin your day as one direct hit and you are done. And a lot of the time, a couple are being sent at you so it is easy to miss one.

The rest of the enemies are claptrap altered baddies you have faced before, including those Hyperion soldiers. Even the turrets are claptraped. And speaking of claptraped, even most of the bosses are claptraped as well. Let's just say they take the hardest from the DLCs past along with one special one that you never got to fight. I don't want to spoil everything. You have a completely new boss never encountered as well that isn't any form of claptrap. And than, you have two claptrap bosses. The one thinks he is a chicken and the other is the rebel leader himself. Let me just say, the rebel leader is the toughest boss I faced that is apart of the main storyline. Let's just say I still haven't beat him.

As is natural with the other DLC, you are put into a completely new are that seems to be cutoff from the rest of the Borderlands world. You encounter some old friends and a new oneish.

Overall, I would have to say that Claptrap's New Robot Revolution is one of the hardest DLCs of Borderlands, if not the hardest. I know I died a plenty. But, it doesn't get boring either. This is easily top 2 DLC for Borderlands that I have played. I haven't played Mad Moxxi's DLC yet but I don't own it. So, I can easily recommend that you Play This DLC!

The Secret Armory of General Knoxx: Review

on Thursday, 01 September 2011. Posted in PS3, Borderlands

In my quest to finally dominate Borderlands, I decided to unleash Brick on the General Knoxx. That is through the DLC The Secret Armory of General Knoxx. This will be the second of the available DLC content for Borderlands that I have played. So, how did it fair agains the Zombie Island of Dr. Ned?

The general gameplay is what you would expect from Borderlands. You quest. You hunt for treasure or in this case weapons and armor. You meet and interact with new and interesting characters. Which means it is all solid and I still think it is worth the play.

The biggest thing that is brought to the table for most people is a higher level cap. I hate to give credit to raising the max level in games because if the game is programmed properly all that is need to be done is change a few numbers around. However it is welcome. It manages to give me that extra ambition to keep playing on top of the quests.

This DLC is more driver centered. You are expected to drive a lot more and along with that some new vehicles are introduced. They are beefier but they are slower. However, they are needed in quite a few instances and are a nice introduction.

However, it almost seems there is to much driving. Well, maybe not to much driving but to much repetitive driving. Most of the driving is done on highways which that is just driving in one direction. Sure, the game tries to through in some bumps that make you go about things the round about way and out of the vehicle. Even that almost gets to be to much and then they stop making you do it. At least for awhile until they make you do it one last time. It is bearable and really overall doesn’t detract from the fun to much.

There are a few new enemies. Mostly, these are variations on some of the Crimson Lance soldiers and the thug enemies. However, they add a few new ones that are altogether new along with some new species and bosses that it makes for an interesting experience finding weaknesses and plain just defeating them.

My favorite part of this DLC is the new characters that you interact with. The first one you meet is the central reason for all the quests. You meat some old characters again as well. General Knoxx is pretty awesome in my opinion and I hated that I had to fight him. However, my favorite new character is Mad Moxxi. Granted, if you had the Mad Moxxi DLC first you would already know of her. I haven’t played that DLC yet so ya. However, IMO she is hot and just a very interesting personality. I wish I would have had more quests from her or just more interaction.

There is a new epic boss introduced as well. He is extremely difficult and provides the opportunity to get the best dropped items in the game. I will leave it at that.

All in all, this DLC turns out to be an excellent one despite some of the pitfalls. Even with those pitfalls, I can easily suggest that you Play This Game, err DLC!

Zombie Island of Dr. Ned: Review

on Tuesday, 16 August 2011. Posted in PS3, Borderlands

For me, DLC or addon packs usually equates to cheap thrill. This is usually not in a good sense. Some of the past DLC I have experienced requires more money for unimpressive content. This usually includes cars, maybe a few maps, or even just skins. Even story based addons tend to lack in quality and content. So, I am always skeptical of buying this type of content. Especially when it is only offered in downloadable format.

However, I love Borderlands. It is easily one of my favorite games. That and coupled with a sale on the addon packs I was more than eager to buy some DLC. Now, there is a Game of the Year edition now available that offers all the DLC with the game. However, I got Borderlands well before DLC was released.

The first DLC I figured I would try was the Zombie Island of Dr. Ned. Personally, the surge of Zombie based games has me overwhelmed and usually sick of them. They are awesome but they become same old same old.

Zombie Island is an island owned by the Jakobs corporation that have had some strange happenings going on. You are to investigate the happenings along with Dr. Ned who has been around for the whole process of the zombification.

The gameplay is overall the same as the basic game. You shoot and gain levels while finding badass gear.

However, the setting is drastically changed. There is a darker feel. Hell, there is even an area that mocks Old Haven by making it the zombie equivalent.

My favorite part has to be the enemies. Rather than having completely new enemies, they just zombify among other things the current Borderlands baddies. They act completely different but the similarities and differences mix extremely well.

One thing I will tell you, the bosses are extremely tough. They are awesome but I was around level 55 when facing them and I had an extremely tough time. Even the strongest non boss is pretty damn tough. But, I am glad as it just made it more of a challenge.

The story is pretty rock solid as well. Some things are expected but there are enough back stories and surprises that make this DLC entertaining and intriguing.

Needless to say, Play This DLC! I had just as much fun, if not more, than the original game. Plus, it changes enough up that it almost feels like a separate game.

Blast From The Past: Dead Space

on Thursday, 28 July 2011. Posted in PS3, Dead Space

Dead Space is a third person action adventure sci-fi survival horror. Yes, it is a mouth full. I usually stray away from the survival horror genre. They usually kind of bore me. Or at least, that has been the experience. So naturally, I never played Dead Space. However, it being $20 now and there was a non best seller style available, I was forced to pick it up.

And that brings us to the Blast From The Past. There is clearly a second Dead Space now. And this little guy was released in 2008. So yes, it qualifies.

Now, I knew this should be a good game. I knew that it has scared quite a few people. So, I was hoping that I would thoroughly enjoy this game and hopefully not wet my pants.

First things first, the scare factor. Initially, the game had me jumping. I was quite impressed that a game actually was able to accomplish. But unfortunately, I mean luckily I didn't wet my pants. And after the first couple jumps, I got used to the setting and the game wasn't at all "scary." But that is alright, the settings were still thoroughly enjoyable.

The graphics are fairly decent. Not game changing but very suitable. Weapons are interesting. Monsters are sadistic looking. And the dismemberment of the limbs is pure awesome. The environments are also great looking.

I think what Dead Space excels in is the ambience. The lighting makes sure that it gives that dark and scary feeling and especially does so when there are sudden attacks. But even more so, the music becomes the key. I never notice before in a game on how well the background music has effected the mood of the game.

However, my favorite part of the game is the story. That is really with any game. I get more into the story line than the game. There are a few exceptions. Every time it was time to put down the controller I had to fight the urge to keep playing irregardless. Isn't that what one should get out of good game anyways?

To be honest, I could find zero flaws with the game. I enjoyed every minute of it. Granted, I wish I would have not gotten so used to the scare factor. I don't think that was the game's fault though. I just started expecting the worst. If you have or have not played Dead Space, Play It Now! That is unless you are in the middle of Dead Space 2 but otherwise you have no excuse.

Blast From The Past: God of War III

on Sunday, 17 July 2011. Posted in PS3, God of War III

Back before the reboot, we actually had a review for God of War III. If you happened to stumble across it, you already know what to expect from this. If not, be forewarned. My opinion may be a little biased.

Now, clearly this is for the Blast From The Past series. God of War III isn't all that old. However, it isn't new so it is definitely a better fit to go into the Blast From The Past.

If you don't know, God of War III is a third person action adventure game set in the age of Greek Mythology. If you don't know what Greek Mythology is, quit living under a rock. Nonetheless, Greek Mythology consists of the gods such as Zeus and Hades and legends such as Hercules. If you are still clueless, just Google that shit.

Before reading any further, if you have not played the first two God of War games, I highly suggest doing so. If you have that task completed, read on. And don't worry, the first two will probably get their own Blast From The Past spotlight.

God Of War III continues the story of Kratos, slave of the gods gone on a hell bent path of revenge. The game offers plenty of violence, blood, puzzles, and so much more.

The storyline is just plain awesome. I normally don't talk about storyline all that much but this game excels at story telling. For me, this is a rarity in most games. I could just play this game, correction series, just for the storyline.

The next thing up is the graphics. God of War III offers still some of the best graphics on the PS3. But, good graphics isn't the only thing it offers in the graphics department. Yes. high polys are a plus. But everything just fits. The scenery is rich and appropriate. Essentially, every area offers something to look at.

The controls are spot on. Everything seems appropriate. Granted, I have logged plenty of hours with the franchise and the controls haven't changed all that much. Some could say the game offers a very button mashy control scheme. However, if you get enough into the game button mashing will just not do. Go even further, you better have every move memorized.

A lot of games in a franchise often end up being the same old same old. Granted, GOWIII does use the same formula. But it brought enough new stuff to keep it interesting. The challenges are fun and well challenging. And doing them all unlocks even more content. New weapons and abilities are also introduced as well.

If you have not played this game, you need to. It is your duty as a gamer. I am still playing it after all this time. If you know someone that hasn't played the game, get them playing. Even better, the game is cheaper now as well. Win, win.

But alas, I am probably a huge fan of the franchise and my opinion as previously stated is pretty biased, maybe.

Duke Is Back, Finally

on Wednesday, 15 June 2011. Posted in PS3, XBox 360, PC, Duke Nukem Forever

Duke is finally back. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to play it yet. I want to but the money isn't there. Yes, I run a gaming website. But, we are not that popular and we are not bringing in any money right now.

However, the reviews are less than stellar. Actually, the scores are much lower than the Duke 3D. Some are shocked as the game has been in development for so long so they were expecting an awesome game. However, times have changed. Gamers expect a lot more. They don't want just a crass hero. They want awesome graphics. Awesome gameplay. Awesome storyline. Let's be frank, we can't expect all of that from Duke. Duke is about blowing shit up and throwing singles at girls with some bad ass one liners.

My thoughts are still unsure. I don't expect an amazing game. I don't expect a terrible game. What am I looking for? I am looking for the same Duke as old. Lots of shooting. Lots of blowing stuff up. Lots of weird ass aliens. Lots of scantily clad female pixels. And overall, I am here to kick ass and chew bubble gum, but I am all out of bubble gum.

PS3 Online Gaming Sucks

on Sunday, 15 May 2011. Posted in PS3

So, Sony has finally gotten all of North America up and running with their partial services. So naturally, I hopped on and started playing Killzone 3. I should probably stop.

The game is just running terribly. There will be times where the game lags real bad. I mean half the players are playing normally and the other half are just standing around waiting to get killed.

However,  the biggest gripe has to be that I am dominating but almost every other game there is "Network Problems." But yet, here I am still playing. Is anyone else having these problems?

I figure it can't be just me because I rarely have a problem with my home network.

PSN Back On Line, Partially...

on Sunday, 15 May 2011. Posted in PS3

Now, I have been pretty patient with Sony. Actually surprisingly patient. But, my patience has paid off.

Today, Sony issued an update for the PS3 that allows you to sign back in to PSN and also mandates a password change. FYI, change you password completely.

Shortly after, they release a blog post on detailing the PSN Restoration process and that is indeed beginning. The first of the services, IMO the most important, is online game play. This will take several hours as stated by sony to get it up and running in all regions. They have a map on this post which will highlight the areas it is available depending on your country. You have to go to the respective region of the playstation website to get this info for your area.

Than, a video was released that had Kazuo Hirai explaining all the finer details and such. I would recommend visiting the Playstation Blog to get more of the details that are not listed here. I would provide a hyperlink but I don't know if Sony has a redirect depending on your region.

All I can say though, Alleluia! See you on the battlefields.

Need For Speed Hot Damn

on Tuesday, 19 April 2011. Posted in PS3, Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit

Before I begin, let's get one thing straight. The past couple of years the Need for Speed series has kind of sucked. I love the Need For Speed series. But, I haven't actually bought a Need for Speed game since Underground 2. That game was alright but just couldn't hold up to the oldies and goodies.

Now, fast forward to around now. EA has released Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. This isn't the first Hot Pursuit. And really, I hope it isn't the last. It surely won't be the last Need For Speed.

Anyways, let's actually talk about the game. First, you should notice that the game is gorgeous. At least, on the PS3 it is. The scenery, the cars, the effects. They just all look beautiful. And, it didn't take 10 years to develop.

Now, beauty is not everything. Various games prove that. It is truly about the mechanics. The camera needs to work appropriately. Things shouldn't appear out of place. Etc, etc. Well guess what? This game excels in everything. Honestly, it has been quite awhile since I have had this much fun playing a racing game.

There are some things that I would have liked to have seen. A more costly damage system would have been great. I am referring to how you would need to fix your car from damages. However, there is no monetary system. The fact there is no monetary system allows one to enjoy the rest of the game more. So, yes they would have been cool but it really doesn't detract from the game at all. Also, downloadable content packs' trophies should not be included when you do not possess said such content packs.

So, this should be a no brainer. Play This Game!!!

For Helghan! I mean, ISA! Well, one of them.

on Saturday, 16 April 2011. Posted in PS3, Killzone 3

Well, the past few weeks I have finally started playing the Killzone 3 multiplayer. Probably a mistake but I will get into that later. Being this is a first person shooter, a lot of people look at the multiplayer over the single player campaign. So, my first review post probably didn't sit well with those accustomed to reviews. But, you can't review what you have not played.

First things first, Killzone 3 multiplayer is quite a bit different than Killzone 2. Granted, the general concept is the same. Play the maps, kill some opponents, maybe fall to your death, blow crap up, and maybe even capture some control points. However, the way you unlock stuff is the main difference besides the maps.

In Killzone 2, you had to unlock everything by completing goals in multiplayer. This even included classes. Now, you have all the classes available to you. Each time you level, you get unlock points. You can than use these unlock points to unlock the skills, abilities, and weapons for the various classes. In my opinion, this isn't a better way to do things, but this way isn't any worse either. Really, this allows you to concentrate more on what you want to do right away. It may just take you longer to unlock as much as you had before.

Now, I mentioned earlier that it might have been a bad idea to play the multiplayer. This actually is not a bad thing. I just find the the multiplayer to be so much fun. This may be a bold claim, but I have more fun playing this game's multiplayer over any other recent multiplayer.

Let's see, the game is beautiful, the game is fun, and the game lets you do what you want. Oh, there are also a lot fewer idiot minors playing it than the high end multiplayer games on that other system. Yep, this game and its multiplayer is a definite must play. See you on the battlefields!

Blast From The Past: LittleBigPlanet

on Wednesday, 13 April 2011. Posted in PS3, LittleBigPlanet

Despite the enormous popularity of the game known as LittleBigPlanet, I have never played. That is until recently. So, I figured it would be a great opportunity to have another Blast From The Past after I played.

So, upon first impressions of starting the game I was a little confused. I may have been a little overwhelmed. But, the game did not seem all that appealing. Oh look, another platformer... Don't get me wrong, platformers are great games. They just have a hard time of convincing me to play them and continue playing them. But, for the benefit of the doubt I continued onward.

After playing and some more playing, I started to see why everyone really likes this game. It is fun. It is addictive. It takes awhile to play if you are actually trying to collect thing. Even better, I want to take a break and then continue on. A lot of games take all of my attention right away and than the interest tapers off.

The world of LittleBigPlanet is just astounding. To what you can do with so little and the endless possibilities is just amazing. Take a look the enormous amount of created levels. And than, look how many are continuing to be made even with the second one out. I played one level and was like, "Holy *Explicitive*. They did this with a level editor."

So, if you have not played LittleBigPlanet, play it. If you don't have a PS3, buy one so you can play it. Than, you can go on and play the sequel.
